How NOT to Lose Weight Quickly
A friend of mine at work decided to try a diet plan to lose weight so he could get into shape and feel better about himself. He told me this plan restricts him to 1,500 calories per day and he must do 17 minutes of high intensity workouts each day. My friend is close to 300 pounds and is admittedly used to eating anything and everything.
I talked to him today to see how the diet is going, his first day was on Monday. He said he’s been starving since day one and he and his wife are already over the workouts. They’re going to ignore the starving and just battle though it. He told me that after the 30 days is over he will no doubt go back to his old ways and can’t wait for that first meal.
This doesn’t sound like a plan that will make you feel better about yourself. No matter what diet plan you choose to follow…Please…Please…Please… do not starve yourself! There are many fitness program creators that don’t have your best interest at heart, it’s all about the money.
If you’re having headaches and feeling sick, you should quit the program immediately!
I’m going to let everyone in on a big secret. When it comes to losing weight and feeling better about yourself the big factors include getting rid of the junk food and start exercising.
Personally, I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. I don’t eat fast food or a lot of junk food. My exercise routines include ruining and other cardio workouts. I don’t even think about calorie intake. Sure, I’m a guy but my metabolism isn’t exactly what it used to be. I eat right and exercise. Same thing with my wife, she eats right and exercises. We’ve done this without starving ourselves.
There is absolutely no reason you should be starving yourself to lose weight.
